Trancura River Bank

This is how I saw the Trancura river bank, while rafting.

The red flowers are from a plant called Chilco/Chilca and its seeds are bittersweet.

My brothers, sister and I playfully explored the banks of Liucura and Trancura rivers to have a banquet with the seeds of this beautiful plant.

The white flowers are from Canelo and Ulmo trees.

Canelo is sacred to Mapuches, we use its branches to sprinkle some of the liquid offering during the Guillatún. My parents used to say the bees made the best honey from the Ulmo flowers.
